Everything OLD is NEW Again?

Like many of you, I am following the whole BP Oil Disaster debacle. This one has been coming for decades.

The Department of the Interior, which has been among the most corrupt and incompetent of all the Federal Agencies, with the exception of the DOJ and it’s cabal of FBI clowns, has been subverting the rights of people since Day ONE.

Originally, the only People it was hurting were Indians. It gave away lands that were supposed to be Held in Trust for Indians. As the Trustee, it gave away the mining, drilling, timber, mineral and water rights to corporate fat cats.

The resources that are supposed to be the wealth of any nation, belong to the people. However, Government, in this case, the Department of the Interior, not only gave the rights to those resources to corporations, it did so without proper royalties, or even oversight to be sure that the lands they were in charge of protecting, and the resources they were in charge of regulating, were not being destroyed or ‘stolen’.

Further, and this is the one insult I find the hardest to stomach, Department of Interior was given total control over Indian Peoples, and their lands. They set up the reservation agencies that were essentially ‘concentration camps’. They forbid the hunting and the gathering practices and starved the people into submission.

True, they did also ‘hand out’ food to the people, but it was never enough, and it was never decent food. But to this day, the lie persists that Indians are given all these ‘handouts’.

Indians had to watch as all around them, their lands, their way of life, was being destroyed and taken from them. They had to watch, hunkered down, hungry and hurting, while corporations came in and took what they wanted and left nothing behind except ruin.

And, because any suit against the Federal Government brought by anyone, especially Indians, had to go through Federal Court, and the Indians had no resources to financially compete with the people and the corporations that were decimating them, it was not uncommon to find cases dropped, or worse; egregious rulings allowed to stand for lack of funds to appeal. Those rulings became ‘precedent’ and that is what allowed even more abuses, with the aid and assistance of the Department of Justice, to continue to rob the People and raid the resources.

Sooner or later, those practices, so profitable for Corporations and their in-pocket political allies, had to become so big and so ugly that no one could miss them. It had to come to everyone’s door. It had nowhere else to go, and it was not about to be stopped.

Welcome to the Oil Spill

We almost forget, as we watch the horror unfold before our very own helpless eyes, that this latest disaster is only one in a long string of recent horrors. The mining explosions and disasters. People died.

The Mountain Top Removal of mining that poisons every stream, erodes the land, and leaves the local people in deeper and deeper poverty.

Corporations took from the Indians and no one noticed. Corporate Fat Cats became wealthier and wealthier, paid less and less taxes, and owned more and more elections.

People hear the faux cries of radical Right Wingers who rail against ‘Big Government’ but who are silent when Big Corporations steal, ruin and kill.

Big Government is what is needed to regulate Big Corporations. To be sure that the people, you and I “People”, get a say in how things are done, and how much is paid to us for the National Resources that are being extracted by Corporations who pay nothing and often get billions of Tax Dollars granted to them as ‘gifts’ from friendly politicians who control our lives.

Big Government is one that can control the Corporations instead of the Corporations controlling government.

When you hear all the railing against Big Government, ask yourself ‘why?’

When Dick Cheney held his secret meetings with the Oil Industry to set Energy Policy, it was to gut out any controls over how Corporations operated as they took our resources, paid nothing, were gifted billions and had their liability set at a laughable ‘cap’ for any damages they would do to our environment.

Behold BP. If the government steps in, BP will not be liable for damages. BP can do what it wants, thanks to laws passed, regulations gutted, over decades.

They were even allowed to write their own reports, and the DOI just essentially took their word for it, and signed off on it.

When It is Others

When it was the Buffalo, the Gold, and the Rivers, everyone was happy to fight the Indians so that “Progress” could be made. Our nation was declared ‘wealthy and free’ even though Poverty and slavery were still commonplace. Only a few very powerful families became ‘wealthy’. We call that “Old Money”.

Indians were massacred, Treaties were broken before the ink was dry. But that was okay, because we were a young nation and we were going to become powerful.

When slavery was abolished, Racism was allowed to flourish. Racism is how we, as a people, are kept divided and against one another so that we cannot see what is being done either to Indians, or to ourselves. We can always find someone “other” to blame.

Recently, it is ‘immigration’. The immigration process is so flawed and defective that only the very wealthy and well-connected and navigate through the maze.

But employers need slaves. So, for decades, illegal immigrants have been lured to the land of Milk and Honey with the promise of work. They don’t come here looking for a hand out. They come here to work. And they are mistreated and underpaid and have nowhere to turn because they are not ‘legal’.
Corporations, not happy with being able to keep wages depressed as they increase their own bottom lines, and increase their own salaries and bonuses, turn to other gimmicks: outsourcing.

Outsourcing is the biggest threat to employment in the USA. Not ‘immigrants’. But, in order to keep people distracted and prevent us from uniting in order to demand fairness or regulation: Think Tanks conjure up racist themes and memes to keep us from turning over their rocks. “Illegal Immigrants!”

It is now, in some states, “Open Season” on people of color. Some of them may or may not be ‘illegally’ in town. That is not important. Just keep creating hatred. That works for… the fat cats.
As long as it is happening to ‘others’ nothing changes. Except that is, to get worse.

It is the silence on the Right that is deafening. They only have mantras that protect Corporations. They now want “Big Government” to step in and clean up the mess created by ever weakening regulations, in the name of “Free Markets” (free of Regulations).

This is what we get with all of that. We get a mess. We get a government that has been crippled and we get morons shouting hypocrisy at the top of their lungs. When people are shouting, they seem bigger and stronger and more in numbers than they really are.

Media is no longer there to inform us. They are part of the corporate agenda. They are there to distract us. They are there to make controversy. They are there to sensationalize the trivial and the insipid.

They are there to act like populists, but they are not one of us. They are merely the vocal chords of Fat Cat Corporate owners who have succeeded in gutting regulations that cover everything that affects our lives: Including, ‘Information’.

Dig and don’t stop digging. When you hear shouting, look at what is behind the scenes, going on while you are being misled.

We Are All Indians Now

They took the buffalo, the land, the waters and the ways. They described Indians as heathens, savages and renegades. They made false heroes out of cowards with blonde hair and blue eyes. They denied us access to the truth.

The genocide of Indians is still ongoing in various forms. The 7 generations that endured the Residential Schools, the rapes, murders and traumatizing of small children to scrub them clean of any of their language, culture or family ties, has had a profound effect.

The Department of Interior and their pals at the Department of Justice that put into power only the most corrupt among the Indians in order to keep their control over the resources and prevent the legal challenges to broken treaties has had devastating impact on both peoples and lands, as well as environment and culture.

Ignoring the pleas from the People to investigate murders and abuses by those in power, and then using the full weight of military, including tanks and soldiers to back up and support the corrupt in power, while preventing, blocking any media from accessing the events and telling the story, has been a trademark of how Indians have been mistreated, the resources stolen, and the environment damaged.

Protecting Corporations From Accountability

Now, behold BP: No longer pretending to be under the control of government, but outright giving orders to Federal and Local governments to take their word for how much oil is spewing, and threatening to arrest anyone that is not working for BP, who tries to access the area and get the story out.

A CBS reporter was threatened with arrest by BP for being in the area of the spill, an area that BP wants to have total control over—not to stop the spill, but to prevent the truth from getting to the rest of us.

Workers who survived the blast were held offshore in BP boats and threatened until they signed waivers declaring they had suffered no harm and would not seek legal action against BP.

This is how criminals act. Criminals who run these giant corporations are thugs. Our rights are being taken from us. Our environment is being destroyed. We are being lied to. Ways of life are being destroyed, culture of an entire region is being erased. What was a beautiful, harmonious environment is being demolished, while we watch helplessly, at the mercy of powerful corporations that are cutting through the lives of people as if they are of no value.

Sound familiar?

Remember: The Department of Interior holds Indian Lands in Trust. That means they don’t trust Indian people to be able to deal with their own lands. Lands they managed beautifully until Contact. Lands that are given away to resource extractors with nary a second thought as to what damage will be done to the people, the land, the culture, the future.

And yet, those same yelling and screaming people are on the air, condemning not the Corporate Greed, but those of us who seek to make things fair in this country, for everyone.
They call us ‘socialists’.

I guess that makes us the “Other”, that they are at war with: Indians, People of color, immigrants, Democrats, Socialists. Anyone that stands between Corporations and their ability to freely raid the national resources, is “the enemy” and should be feared, ridiculed, not heeded.

They make their point more and more by threatening gestures, signs, and carrying guns. They murder doctors in church, and hold those murderers as their heroes. Show me your ugly face, teabaggers. I will put you on the news. Ahhh! Sweet fame!

If you want to save what is left of this country, turn off the hate.

If you have not had enough, don’t worry, the worst is yet to come. Those who destroyed our economy, set our soldiers in harm’s way over the lie about WMDs, the very same people that repeatedly ignored the warnings of the coming of 9/11, want to come back into power.

They have voted against everything that would help us, heal us, and makes us stronger. They have blocked the appointments of every agency that we need in order to start to set things right.

They want us to hate one another. They want us to ignore corporate greed, damage and death. They send their spokes model to the front lines to answer only pre-screened questions with no follow-up questions allowed.

It’s all a show to deceive us. It’s all for the power, not for the people.

And, too many are buying into it.

Just turn off the hate. Look around. We are all Indians now. And it is time that we take back that which was stolen from us by the big corporations. It is time we hold them accountable. It is time to heal. WE ARE GOVERNMENT. We can make it work for US. Or we can surrender, again, to corporate slogans, false memes and destructive racism.

We have seen this play out too many times to ignore it any longer.

As I am banging my head against the desk... Correction: Paul Yankton is NOT the Tribal Secretary Treasurer as stated in the previous two blogs. His brother *son, Justin is. Yeah, the one thing the Tribal Website gets right, I get wrong.

Do not blog when tired. Oh well, there will be loads of mistakes, just let me know, and I will correct them as I stumble along.  Sorry Paul! Be on as many Boards as you want!

DOPE!

And sure enough, Chelsea Walkingeagle was featured on Nancy Grace. Lots of mug shots, all looking sad... still not sure why it made the NG show. No follow up on others involved-- well, that's our Nancy. She can't be bothered with much more than repeating headlines, over and over again.

Chels, you made your family proud. You made National News. Of course, it was for smoking dope while the child wandered out on the highway... but fame is something you always wanted, right?

Bad judgment. Repeatedly. Finally, an uncomfortable fame. It could have been much worse. That child could have been killed. THAT would never leave you, no matter how much you drink or smoke. Never.

We ALL Make Mistakes

We all make mistakes. Some more serious than others. The thing to do is admit them, know what caused them, correct them if you can, and above all, learn from them.

I'm lucky there are people out there who watch over me. I make a mistake, they let me know. Some sooner than others. I correct it and move along. Sometimes, I apologize because I get things 'that' wrong.

Then again, there are other kinds of mistakes. The kinds we make when we are young and dumb. And trust me, we are dumb for a very long time. If we keep getting away with things that are wrong, we don't learn from them.

Each time we do it wrong, without correction, it gets bigger and 'worser'. Oddly enough, some people think that getting away with doing wrong things makes them smarter than other people, or impervious to consequences. They are wrong. Because what they are doing will eventually bring them down.

Chelsea is learning the hard way. I hope she gets some good counseling. I hope she can reflect back on her life and realize where she made her mistake. I hope that, despite the humiliation of being a national shame name, she makes the corrections in her life that will prevent her from making an even worse mistake on down the line. A mistake that can never be taken back, corrected, or 'fixed'. She's still young.

But the one thing that works against her is her family. She comes from a family that thinks the rules apply to others. Her Grampa is a corrupt thief, embezzler with a lurid private life that he doesn't even bother to keep private.

I don't know where she can draw from to make herself wiser, better, or stronger. I think she will do it again. And it will be even worse. 

Look at the whole family. She doesn't stand a chance.

For me? Typos, name swaps, fatigue. No dope. No alcohol, no glue, no huffing... just tired.

I got to be as old as I am by making mistakes. And appreciating the lesson in each one, regardless of how bad it was, knowing it could have been so much worse.

Chelsea is still 'all mouth' and no brains. Grampa can be proud of what he has done to the family. She's not the worst of the batch. But now, they are famous.

Mistakes will happen. No matter how smart we are. Add in drugs, alcohol and contempt for other people, disdain for the laws and rules, and you get some pretty horrific outcomes.

If you are lucky, you get to survive your stupidity and no one gets killed. If you are stupid, really stupid, you push your luck until it pushes back.

We are packing to move, showing the house, running 3 businesses in partnership transition. I am going to muck it up again. Thanks for caring enough to tell me when I get it wrong!

School Board

No, I'm not saying anything bad about Paul Yankton. My concern was that being on Tribal Council and the School Board could create a conflict of interest situation. He may be all good and well and just chock full of integrity-- and I hear from most people that THAT is the case-- but what of the next time? What if someone wanted to manipulate both?

Well, I get an email this morning saying that because he is Secretary-Treasurer for the Tribal Council, he does not have a vote on Tribal Council and that should preclude any conflict of interest concerns.

IF that is true, then, by all means, keep him on the School Board. However, I strongly recommend that there be a resolution that no one with a vote on the Tribal Council can serve both the Tribal Council and the School Board.

Especially since I think the School Board, as it is, is totally pathetically mismanaged. I think it should be held accountable to the people and to the Tribal Council.

The lowest AYP scores, possibly in the nation, seem to have earned Chip Anderson a raise. I just don't get it. What kind of backwards/inside out world is this? Fail, fail everyone, fail again, fail the children, fail the future and get a raise!

You can see why this is not something that should be left to those who are currently running it. At least, not to those we know are 'challenged' mentally and ethically.

With all the money the tribe has garnered for scholarships (and kept away from the students), and all those who managed to graduate and go on to get real degrees... there has to be someone capable of holding positions that are important both to the future and the present: School Board is key.

Get Wanda Trottier out of Personnel Director's job. She does NOT have the qualifications. Not even close. We saw what decades of the 'buddy system' has done to the tribe. Let's not continue the trend.

For one thing: putting in people who are qualified by degrees/credentials and integrity gives a message to the tribe that they are worth the best among them doing the best work. Also, a message to the kids: Get your life together, come back and help your people. You can and will be appreciated. you can make a positive difference in how things are.

As it is now, the only message is: The people are not important. Only those with power have any value.

Worse: The message to the kids, from K-12 is: Who cares?

And look what that has done for the tribe! Go visit all that comes from that-- at the cemetery.

Remember

So many young people die so unnecessarily, that it has become common place. Barely enough time to grieve before another and another and another, are planted in the cemetery. It is as if our young are 'disposable'.

I hear that Brent and Tammi, shown here in the photo, are not in jail. Rather, they are drunk, day and night, in the local bars, Oh Oh Bar and Warwick, telling everyone how 'bad' they feel, and how 'sorry' they are that they were drunk and killed Mary Feather.

Seems like nothing is learned. Drinking causes death, so drink some more?

Yes, everyone involved was drinking, and that just makes it all even more useless.

Why has no one been arrested? Why are they allowed to continue drinking in public and driving?

What's another dead Indian Child?

They are drinking because it is their only coping skill. They drink now for the same reason they were drinking when they killed her. It's all they know how to do. They don't know how to face what they have done, so they continue to get drunk and possibly line up to do it again? Or perhaps to be killed themselves?

Look at them. They seem like everyone else. Obviously, a wedding picture. Obviously looking for happiness in this world. So was Mary Feather. Only she won't get this chance. She won't wear a wedding dress. She won't have children of her own.

Again, it is the entire system out there that stinks. From the first day of school until the last breath. There is nowhere to go to heal. The few programs out there that struggle for funding and to help people, are stepped on by the big feet of those who have connections and no qualifications.

You have Wanda Trottier, who lacks the necessary degrees and expertise, now running the Personnel Department. Her main qualification? Her husband is best friends with Darren Brown.

Piggy Cavenaugh still runs the clinics out there. She does more harm than good. All of her family has access to those who are the most vulnerable, so, it is inevitable that there are suicides, drunks and drug addicts with no way back.  There will be more dead children. There will be more shit-faced sorrowful drunks, and there will be no investigations, no arrests and absolutely nothing learned despite the highest cost being paid-- the loss of a child, and the whole future she could have brought to her family and community.

Remember Mary Feather. Learn something. Change something. Don't just go on being and doing the same things that took her away.

School Board Elections

Apparently, with almost no notice whatsoever to the community, there will be school board elections in the first week in June.

Of course, Beaz and Son are running. They get $250 free money. He's the one that can't read or write and had to have special ed classes. She's the one that never got past 8th or 9th grade. Are these really the kind of people you want overseeing how the schools are run?

And, why is Paul Yankton, who is on the Tribal Council, and on the College Board, also running for School Board? Doesn't he have enough to do? Or does he want all the power?

Better dig up some good candidates and quickly! Run them and support them.

Anyone who wants to be a candidate, send me your picture, and a write up and I will post it here so that at least people will have an idea of who you are and what you represent! I won't change a thing, so make sure you get it right.

You'd think, by now, the website for the tribe would at least make an attempt to inform the community of what is going on, what is coming up, and who is working for the community! Silly me.   How much are they being paid?

Beaz, you and Marty can send me your write ups too. I'll post them. People can use a good laugh!

Meet Your New Personnel Director

Looks like today is Wanda Trottier's first day at work. She's your new Personnel Director. So, what are HER qualifications? At the very least, it should be a degree in Human Resources. Preferably a Masters, simply because there is so much mess out there that needs to be untangled.

Let me know what you find out about her. I am assuming that unlike her predecessor, she can read, right?

Her husband and Tribal Council Member, Darren Brown are best friends so the choice was a 'natural'.

I guess we can go for "Accountability" and "Qualified" at some point in the future. What matters now is keeping your friends fat and happy.

Wind Farm

Has anyone heard anything about the Wind Farm? The funds from the Government need to be accounted for. It is not a piggy bank. Has anyone seen any progress reports on the project?

Casino

I see the Cedar Room of the casino has had its Grand Opening and all the catering, music, and fanfare. Nice to know that when the Tribal Council can drop a quick $3 Million down, a project can actually be finished. Anyone see any of the accounting on that project?

I still don't get why it was the Tribe that had to pay the casino. Isn't the casino supposed to be making money for the Tribe? Oh, wait, no. The Casino is a piggy bank. I forgot.

School Bored

Does anyone know if the most recent raise granted to Chip Anderson was retro-active or not? Why are Beaz and Son still on the School Board?

There are basic, fundamental, foundational mechanisms to a community that determine if it is going to survive, thrive or fail. The Schools are where the Future learns to succeed or fail; Strive or quit; persevere or just give up.

All your best teachers are giving up and hiring out elsewhere. They are fleeing. Who will teach the kids? Do you think the kids have any respect for their teachers? They don't. Because the community has no respect for the school, the kids pick up on this aspect and get the message: "We are not worth the time, money or effort to teach us the basics in Education or Social interaction." The AYP scores prove it. Could you possibly fail more and worse?

Why should the children respect their own education and their own self when it is clear by who gets all the important jobs, especially those that control their education, are dimwit plants there to serve their arrogant (and proudly so!), overpaid frauds?

The whole thing becomes a joke. A bad joke.

Kids are scoring lower than anywhere else. How does that prepare them for anything but failure?

It doesn't.

But it does make "Job Security" for the corrupt. They don't ever have to worry about anyone growing up in that community and holding them accountable for anything.

No Rescue

And when the children fall into the rising tide of addictions that surround them, they have nowhere to go to get help or healing. Piggy Cavenaugh, the most unqualified, still runs the clinic and it is still the Piggy Bank for her and her unqualified family.

Well, everyone is saved now. You have Wanda Trottier as your new Personnel Director. *cough*

The Clown Car Never Empty

Ok, looks like I have to post the Cases that relate to Glenn Delorme: Click Here Decide for yourself.

Happy to say that Delorme has his defenders. You know how I love it when both sides bubble up and you all can sort it out for yourselves.

The Defenders of Glenn claim that one of the writers about him is his cousin. That could be. I have no way of knowing.

They say it is jealousy on the part of the cousin. That also could be... I have no way of knowing.

Then, they accused the cousin of dragging a horse to death behind his truck... and they sent me a disturbing picture. Seriously, I have no way of knowing what that is about.  I am not posting that picture in here... it is really too weird. Too disturbing. And, I have no way of knowing who the man is in the picture.

The writer also tells me that Glenn Delorme is going to bust members of his own family if he catches them with drugs. I'll believe that when I see it. I've heard that from so many cops, both on the rez and off, and it usually turns out that the cop never quite catches their own family-- never.

Here's what I know, and this goes for all the cops out there: If you have a family member you know does drugs, sells drugs, buys drugs, you already know of a criminal act. If you are going to arrest anyone for this, you have to arrest them all.

Personally, I think the drug laws in this country are barbaric. I think we should not criminalize sickness. Addiction is a sickness. We can, however, criminalize those who create and profit from the sickness; the Drug Dealers and manufacturers, and put them in prison. Put the addicts in hospital and rehab, it's cheaper than jail and prison, and it yields better results.

But don't give me all this big talk about IF you catching your relatives with drugs... it's just talk.  It becomes very different when the addict, the junkie, is someone you know and care about. Then it becomes a 'person'.

The Badgers have a long way to go before the community can feel safe with them around. They are not there yet. They are not even trying.

I still question, because of the attachment above, why he was hired.

But, if it was a jealous relative or other person trying to settle a score... that's too bad. The Questions remain. If he can answer those questions... to your satisfaction, then fine. All I know is: That is a lot of charges to have on your record if you want to be a cop.  I think the Rez has been through enough and deserves better.

It's really up to you. You are the community that is paying for this. You are the community that is either being served or abused by who is hired. YOU decide. I put this stuff up because it is what is out there. I post it so you all have the same information and can decide from that. You decide. You know this guy way better than I do. I never heard of him before this.

And, anyone that has any information, either side of this, send it to me. I will post it. You decide.

Wouldn't it be easier and better if you had a Tribal Council you could trust? One that did not have NLO and WalkingEgo in there robbing you? Wouldn't it be nice if you knew there was a standard for hiring Tribal Police? Tribal Judge Appointments? School Board Members?

But there isn't. Until there is, all you have is the blog.

Back To School

I'm also hearing that the School Board just gave Chip Anderson a 5% raise. If that is true, I have to ask: What for?

Also, something about the school ordering and paying for a treadmill... that turns out to be at someone's 'other house'.

What other items are on the School bills that are somehow not school related? And, whose houses or 'other' houses are those items located in?

Lies and Betrayals

Have I ever been lied to or misled in what I post on the blog? Yes. Sometimes it is intentional, other times it is unintentional. It happens. That is why when there is an opposing viewpoint, I post it. Ultimately, it is up to you, the reader, the members of the community, to sort it out.

I'm not perfect, nor do I expect those who offer information to be perfect. I expect people to be honest. Failing at that, I expect others to bring forward corrections. And, where it is just an opinion -- and it is well-presented (meaning, I can understand it), I will post it.

The rez is isolated. Information is not centralized. Too much goes on in secret. There is no clearinghouse for information. Everything is left to gossip and conjecture. Worse, the lack of any information, accurate or not, leaves people in the dark, not even knowing what is being said or what is going on.

I post this blog to air it out. Get mad if you don't like it, correct it if it is wrong.  You only get out of this what you put into it.

The isolation of the rez is no accident. People are easier to abuse if they are cut off from information or from others knowing about them. If all anyone has is what they caught eavesdropping, or rumors that change with each telling, no one knows what is going on and it becomes even more futile.

The Blog provides you all with what is out there. NOW you can discuss it amongst yourselves and sort it out. Without the blog, you have nothing. You can't even begin to guess.

And there are people who like that. They want to know nothing so they are not put in the position of dealing with anything. Now, with this, you can't play ignorant. What you know, you now you have to deal with, one way or the other. You cannot claim you are not informed.

So, get mad, make your case, make your point, discuss it with your neighbors, get active in your community.

Eddie and the others, were all murdered in a place where no one talked to each other about anything, and people could ignore unpleasant information as 'rumors' and dismiss it. Well, now you all get the same information. The Innocent were railroaded in that kind of isolation. They spent years in court and in prison. Lives were ruined by silence. It was easy.

I do appreciate it when people send me 'the other side' of issues.

Remember this: If you lie to me, you lie to everyone out there... and someone will know it, and they will speak up and your lies will bring you down.

Those who know the Truth and stay silent? Well, isn't that where all the evil that thrives out there comes from? Isn't that what all the darkness out there relies on?

It's up to you.

I've been lied to. I've been betrayed. But I don't let that stop me. If I wait for perfection and certainty, well, nothing gets done now does it? 

The community has become more proactive and aware. More is getting done out there, and progress is being made. The very people who used to terrify the community just by walking by, now hang their heads, slink back into their holes and fear your laughter and your awareness of who they are and what they have done.

They would love it if no one knew. They would love it if no one spoke up. They would love it if no one sorted out truth from lies.

They hate it that you are able to get information, and to question it or act on it. They hate that. It is what is bringing down their empire. It is what is bringing change out there. It is you, all of you, taking back control over your lives, your community, your schools, your Tribal Council and your other agencies. It is you doing it.

Guess who just became a cop last month? Go on, guess. You know how the Tribe likes to put only their very best in uniform, give them guns, badges, authority... Handcuffs... people of ...integrity... and.. *cough, spit, sputter*

They like to be sure everyone feels safe. So, they hired Glenn Delorme, Jr. What are his qualifications? Well, for starters, he's the nephew of Carl Walkingego...(who, btw, is not even Indian... but you already knew that, right?)

The rest of his qualifications read like a full moon in copland.

Date of hire was April 22, 2010 as a Tribal Police Officer. He was a BIA Officer in 2003. In the fall of 2003 he quit because there was an on going investigation and ALL these charges were coming down on him.

The Chief back then, informed him of the seriousness of the offenses which included: fraud, taking from the evidence room, rape, selling pot, forgery, stopping under aged female drivers and fraudulently saying if you have sex with me I will let you go.....This is one sick, twisted fuck...if you know what I mean and this is no lie.

So....how he gets off with the help of his Uncle Carl Walking Eagle is... and you know that cop buddy stuff well yeah.... They always watch out for one another well this is what happened. Now he is back on the force and in full force.

Please tell the people to watch themselves because this guy will "Charm the pants off you literally!" (Rape you in more than one way and laugh at you afterwards). I can't believe this CAT I just can't. Tell the people this see attachment if you want corruption let this guy continue to be on the force.

And the Writer attached the proof. It included passing bad checks, speeding, underage, fishing out of season, just the general "I do what I want, take what I want" attitude.

Now, factor in that the Tribal Judges are all not only unqualified to be in a court of law as anything except a defendant, and you can see what is brewing here.

With all the crap going on out there, and as hard as you all are working to clean it up, it would seem to me that hiring a rapist, bully, and worse as a cop, would be counter-productive. You might want to mention this to your Tribal Council at your earliest convenience. (And OFTEN!)

Just For Funzies

Typically, when something major is breaking out there, and the corrupt don't want me to know about it, they try to hide it. They try to hide it by actively throwing out what they think is red meat, to get me off the scent.

Well, when I see fresh, red meat, especially the pathetic kind, I of course, KNOW SOMETHING IS UP!

Which is what explains this super lame email I just got from Riley Smith. (Or someone claiming to be him. You know, they like to say it wasn't them... but who cares?)

Riley, as you might recall, is a chronic drunk. Has been since he was about 12 years old. His father, Duane, is the other rapist that likes to tie up women and underage girls with Galen Robertson, and rape them for hours and hours. Galen, of course, is in prison right now. Funny, how no one wanted to look at Duane for this. Or the others... but so be it. They got away with it for years because Seashelly was a Tribal Councilor and she would use Tribal funds for drugs, bail, lawyers, and buy offs. She's out of office now.

For awhile, especially after that Twerp, Riley, who likes to call himself "Slim" (a misspelling of "Slime"), while driving drunk, ran over that old man who was walking on the road. Hit and run. Yup. They found him as he was either at the marina or his gramma's (take your pick, not like it matters), washing the blood and evidence off of his truck.

I have not heard a peep from him during that time. Until last night. I got this amusing little missive:

FUCK YOU! I hope you fuckin' burn in hell for shit you say about me and my family. You don't me or shit about me! You got something to say about me, try saying to my face bitch!

To which I responded:

Well, look who's so drunk he's pissin' himself! Been months since I wrote anything about anyone in your family. But... now that you make it fun... I just might get back into it!

So, you run over any old men lately? Eh, Twerpy little coward?

I just laughed when I saw this come through. Obviously, poor Slime is missing out on getting attention. He finally got drunk enough to write me an email... daring me to say this to his face. Like, what's he gonna do? Beat me up for telling the truth? Oh yeah, that's how he likes it.

Look, Twerpsicle, the TRUTH is what is hurting you-- not me.

But, of course, seeing this come down, I knew there had to be something really important out there that this was supposed to distract me from. And, of course, it was the Glenn Delorme, Jr. issue.

But, since the little Twerpsicle jumped up and wants attention, maybe I can give him some, eh?

Oh, and why is he not in jail? Hit and run, from what I know, is against the law.

The old man continues to suffer. I don't know if he ever got out of the hospital. Not like Slime and his family care.

I just find it amusing that this time, they sent me a puny, drunken little twerp.

Wassamatta? You don't have any bigger, braver criminals out there? THIS was the best you could do?

I am busy with other things. Packing and moving 2 offices, one home, all into 3 new locations, takes a lot out of me. But, when it comes to this stuff, I just can't stay away.

You keep sending it, I'll keep posting it. All I need is an internet connection and a few minutes of coffee time.

Bizzy Busy

The Blog is going to be a bit more sporadic than normal for the next month or month and a half. I'm packing, moving, and showing realtors through the house... so I'm going to be very busy and very tired. The move in date is not yet set, but we are expecting it to be soon.  Hoping to get back to regular blogging by the end of June.

Meanwhile: As things come in, I am going to post them. However, since most of my Restless Spirit project has been boxed up, there won't be much chance I can double check or reference back as accurately as I would like.

The move is something we have looked forward to for the past 2 years. And for those who need an amusing mental image: I have labeled most of the boxes as "Misc", "Etc." and "Junk" Somewhere in there are knick knacks (I'm going to disown the next friend that sends me a knick knack as a gift), crafts, fans, clothing. But for some reason, and it always happens this way, I keep thinking "Oh, I'll remember what's in that box..." Well, I am surrounded by a rising wall of boxes...

So, when you send in information, I might require additional connecting data to make the pieces fit.

I have something I need to get posted about Myra trying to pull a fast one on the Department of Interior when it comes to the Elections. I will endeavor to get that to you as soon as I can.
